Top 5 Breakfast Cereals to Eat out of your Hand Like a Horse from a Trough
You know what I'm talking about, right? Welcome to Five on Fridays.
There’s cereal that’s meant to be eaten out of a bowl with a spoon, and then there is good cereal. The cereal that was destined to be scooped directly out of the box with your cupped hand, a makeshift little dish that you can hold beneath your mouth so that you can pick up pieces of cereal with your tongue like a horse eating from a trough. This is bliss. This is 9 pm behavior. This is the only way to eat cereal, so far as I am concerned.
Here are the top five cereals for this dining experience that I deeply pray is universal.

Honey Nut Cheerios
Barbara’s Morning Oat Crunch (similar but slightly less sweet than Quaker Oatmeal Squares)
Puffins
Cracklin’ Oat Bran
Honey Bunches of Oats (wait…do I just love oats? Am I really a horse after all?)
This is the list I just realized I have been waiting for, this is your ted talk subject
I used to love Cracklin' Oat Bran! It has gotten so expensive though. Still eating Honey Nut Cheerios and Honey Bunches of Oats (with almonds!) with my hand.
